So I posted a thread a couple months ago about my austrolorp/NN chick and (s)he is doing fine. BUT my polish hen Beatrice decided to sit on some eggs. Most of the new moms in my flock sit on one or two eggs...Not Beatrice. We’re going on seven babs with more eggs to go. So far there are SIX Naked neck crosses and one that’s normal. There are a couple that I know for sure are Polish/NN but she sat on a lot of eggs that aren’t hers. The weird thing is it looks like they all have little beard tufts. So who knows. The one normal chick looks like a barred rock chick BUT I discovered that it has five toes! So one of my silkies got lucky lol. I’m pretty sure there was another eggs that was about to hatch so who knows there may be one more. But my goodness they’re all so CUTE.
