more babies....

So today I went to TSC bc I heard they got chicks in, and it was on my way home....so I stopped in. They had comets and amberlinks. I currently have 14 BOs, and thought, hey, the flock could use a little variety. So I decided to pick out a few. I got 4 comets and 2 amberlinks. At the time I didn't know much about the breed, but I just found out that very few places carry the amberlink anymore. It's a pretty bird that lays like crazy. Anyways, So now we have 20 little babies running around our brooder!

I am delighted you got the new babies! Uhm, but..... it might have been better to quarantine them for 30 days? It's a good idea, in case anyone has a disease or whatnot.

Don't intend to be a downer, but for future reference.

I thought I would post pics of the babies that I got along with my week old BO's.

As you can see I have taught my BO's how to check for pasty butt. haha.


You were right about quarantining. I didn't even think about it.
