More chicks…….. again

Guess what, I guess three new chicks wasn’t enough for my chickens. So now, Marshmallow one of my silkie hens has gone broody on seven eggs. Come along with me!

So March 28/29 we should be seeing 7 or so new fluffy butts!!

We candled the eggs for the first time yesterday on day sixteen! Five out of seven eggs were developing very nicely. Additionally, Marshmallow’s sister, Misty, has caught the trend and is now broody too, she’s sitting on only four eggs due to how small she is. But she’s only two days in so it’s too early to tell. So exited!
