We are now in the middle of a downpour that started 6 hours ago. I don't how much more of this I can take. I am ready to build an ark, a Noah's ark, not a chicken ark. I thought that maybe the rain would stop when we got to July, but no it just seemed to get worse!

Row, row, row your ark!
Gently down the stream, merrily, merrily, merrily,
Life is but a dream!

I can mail you an oar or two for your rowboat!

Seriously, we could use some of that rain. It has been a hit or miss going on here and the ground is starting to dry up.

YUp! I AM GOING STIR CRAZY! I cant handle any more rain!!

It is the strangest "summer" I can remember and I have lived in New England my whole life.

You aren't the only one! There is very little that I can do at the moment and my poor daughter...on the good days she only comes in to eat and go potty, the rest of the time she is outside running, swinging, helping me in the gardens, etc etc. Needless to say she is drving me a bit crazy because she is so bored and she is an active child who needs to run...

Boy are we all in the same boat or what?????
The weeds in the garden are doing great though.

The only other summer I remember weather like this is when Mt. St. Helen erupted.

The forcast for July for NE is more of the same. According to Matt Noyes on NECN.

I know what you mean, my kids are so bored, and they are driving me crazy!!

If it was not raining, it was so HOT that I didn't want my DD to overheat herself and cooping up in the house was NOT her cup of tea. She just dont understand the pros and cons of going outside in the 90's weather when heat index is well over 100 degrees!

Yes, she did drove me crazy!
