Straight forward questions.

1.) mine are 8 weeks and stinking up the garage. can they be in a dog crate at night with a blanket over them (coons)

2.) What age are they full grown? Mine again. are 8 weeks.

3.) I saw a free ad for muscovy ducklings in the paper...nevermind

5.) When will drakes show their color?

6.) Is there a way to sex them (besides vent sexing) they are 8 weeks.
 
i have rouen duck they get their adult feathers at 3 months and mature at 6 months drakes will start to show colored necks at 3 months they lay at 6 months
 
you van as them by the way that they quack the males are a soft kind of course quack. The females are a loud quack and quack a lot.

When they are about 3 months old you should be able to tell the boys from the girls. Also about this time the drakes will start to get those curley feathers on it's tail.

My 1st Khaki layed her first egg at exactly 20 weeks old and the 2nd Khaki started laying yesterday at about 22.5 weeks old. My Mallard has not layed yet but I'll keep my eyes on her.

I got 12 duck eggs in the bator plus about 24 chicken eggs and they should hatch on Aug 30 & Sep 4th.

moscovies do not have a quack so you can't tell them apart like the others. You can tell them by vent sexing or by the red stuff in their face when they get older.
