We just went out to the coop and found FOUR eggs. We have three chickens.
Both the hubby and I checked for eggs last night before bed and found none. I even raked the coop to be sure one didn't get buried as they aren't laying in the nest box. There was nothing in there, I looked everywhere.
I checked at about 7 AM this morning and there was still nothing.
Went out to do the food and water thing and noticed Stella in the spot they've picked to lay. I watched her lay and egg and sing the egg song (first time we've heard it!). Then when she came out, I checked and there were four perfect eggs.
Can a chicken lay more than one egg? Two of them were very warm, like they were the ones she just laid. One was a double yolker.
