HEhEhe, Yes that does look like Platinum, the cause is the slight wetness from the bator yet giving them a real shinny appearance.. but they are all fluffed up nicely now..

that name would have been nice to Use "Platinum Araucana"

How's the rumpless and tufted part coming? Are these your first hatch from this variety?

Birch I'm seriously thinking of calling them Just that "Platinum Araucana"..
I like it..

Got some with both traits already..

project is coming along very well.

Nice blue eggs as well these chicks are hatching from..the Hens chosen in the beginning were a good choice for this project..

By end of year i will be looking to re home most of these split black/lavender araucana..

They are beautiful! I just love that color. It is like our Satin Guinea Pigs that my DD shows. Just too pretty to not want tons and tons of them.
