These birds are about 4-5 weeks old now. Two I know are barred rocks, but think that both are roos (got those at Southern States). The others are from TSC...is the feather feet one a brahma? The two red ones are out of a mixed red pullet bin at TSC...look at the difference in the combs, I'm not sure what breed they are but they both look like they are the same breed...but based on combs, I think one is a Roo and the other's a hen. As a bonus, I added my two jack russell puppies meeting the barred rocks for the first time...they sure were interested in them! I'll try to do better with the pics in an update...

Thanks in advance for any insight you may be able to provide...

BTW...the fuzzy footed one is much smaller than the others though same age. It's kind of a runt does that mean it's a Bantam? Could be some customer dropped it in the wrong bin after holding it...who knows. At least now our local TSC has the chicks cordoned off so people refrain from picking them up.

It is hard to tell but I am thinking the two barred rocks are rooster. I am not sure but could the buff be a Cochin pullet. The others almost look like speckled sussex

It looks like out of those 3 one is a rooster. Sorry I could not be more help.

You've definitely helped. I suspected both BR to be roos since they've been facing off with each other, got their neck hackles are raised up, and try to spur each other even though they don't have spurs yet. Their combs are even bigger now...I'm kind of bummed out since I only have two BR's and it appears their both Roos.

I also wondered tonight after checking the breed section that this "Brahma" may be a Cochin. I like it though cause it's the only one I have with "trousers" or fuzzy feet!

I've got to look into the Speckled Sussex more and see if I can find the "markers" to confirm. I think the TSC bin said they'd either be RiR, Red New Hamshires, Red Star, and/or somthing else. These were all suppose to be pullets, but I believe I have 4 out of 8 as Roos! Oh well, I know it's all a crap shoot...
