more prayers needed for my nephew

He started chemo Monday... he did four days of his five.... He was admitted to the hospital last night with 104 fever. they say he has an infection somewhere so they are trying to figure out where ... and on top of that he will have to start his chemo over from the beginning as soon as he is better. he is really sick and cant eat anything... he hasn't eaten in a couple of days... so please continue prayers for him and his family

I hope all goes well for him, Chemo is horrible to go through.
We have had 2 people that we know recently go through it, and they as well had zero appetite. Both of these people we were giving fresh eggs to, and they did say that the eggs were so tasty that it helped. My mom was one of them. That was all she could eat many days. It was a wonderful thing to be of help in that small way

I am so sorry to hear this news. Had some bad news like them myself this week. I am not the same religion as you, but I will go to my temple and make some offerings for your nephew for you.

thank you for the prayers... Derrick is really sick it took them all day but they did find something in his blood culture and changed the antibiotics he is on. he is in isolation and will be in there at least until monday. they are letting his parents and older brother in to see him. he is in so much pain that all he does is lay there. . he barely moves. they cannot get his temp below 101 and the cannot get it to stay at 101. it keeps going back up to 104.

update: he has a staph infection in his port... he will be in the hospital 1-2 weeks if all goe well. he also will need his port replaced and will have to start his chemo all over when he is well

Update: derrick has the better staph infection. and it was from his port. yesterday they removed his port and He looks 90 % better. he will be in the hospital another two weeks at least. when he is all better they will put in another port and start his chemo all over again. thank you for all of your prayers

Great to hear that he is getting better.
My mom had issues with her port also, and not an easy thing to see loved ones go through.
We are continuing our prayers for his speedy recovery and for his following treatments to be effective!!

thank you... he has nonseminoma carcinoma embryonal teratoma cancer... basically its more than one cancer. one of them is really aggressive cancer
