Your market is completely different than 99% of the people who are going to respond. What is the market for ducks? For chickens? What are people willing to pay for a laying duck and an eating duck? Have you run #s to get them to market? Same with chickens. Which has the best margins?
If you have the money to invest in quality rare birds, again if you can develop a market, you can change much more than average everyday breeds.
