I'm running back and forth in the house this morning, dividing my time between cleaning and baking.

I go to the kitchen to grab a pot out of a lower cabinet and find my younger GSD Kane laying down in front of the cabinet I need to get into. I said "Move Kane". Kane looked up at me and groaned. He stood up and turned a full 360 degrees, then sat right back down in the same exact spot he was laying in to start with.

Guess I wasn't specific enough.

Hahaha!

My dog will groan sometimes when you tell him to move. Not in a nasty way but in an "OMG, this is such hard work" kind of way.

Haha! Yep, masters of technicality. Tatsu will look at me when I ask him to do something, clearly understanding what it is I want him to do (especially since it's a command he's known for ages), and then do only what I technically asked him to do!

With our boys we've learned to be very specific. If we tell one of them to get the bone and don't specify which bone, we'll get every single bone they have...and they have alot.

Totally your fault! You forgot 4 important words " out of the way"

At least he got up and turned around, my dogs would have just rolled over to their other side

ah, the long-suffering GSD moan. Poor baby, had to move. Sometimes they will try to negotiate as well.
