If this is your first year with chickens, I would offer that it is best to have a hen only flock for a year, and get some experience. Roosters in my opinion can be tricky and rather a crapshoot. Some turn our wonderful, some do not. ESPECIALLY if you have young children. An attacking rooster is at face level for most children under the age of 5.
Two roosters in a flock of flock mates will grow up and mature MUCH sooner than the pullets, they will be the biggest in the flock, and very often this will lead to bullying. They often will run the pullets ragged, long before they are ready for sexual relationships. If you have two set ups, separate the boys from the girls until much both are 5-6 months old.
