I haven't seen an answer to my question abut worms. So here it goes. I Have 11 girls, on Tuesday I saw what appeared to be several small worms in the banty's poop. (It is like having babies always looking at the poop!) Anyway I picked it up and put it in a baggie called the avian vet but they were closed. Haven't been able to get anymore of her poop until today. Since then I have been watching her poop and everyone else's and haven't seen anything else. What appeared to be worms were very tiny less than a 1/4 of an inch long and very thin. I examined her poop from today and do not see anything moving in it. If a chicken has worms will they show signs at each poop? She seems ok, she was broody last week for almost 5 days before deciding she didn't want to be. I Have noticed her crop doesn't get as full as it has in the past, she is no longer sitting in a nesting box except at night. She hasn't roosted the last week. There is some fussing in the hen house at night and I don't know if she decided to stay out of it so that's why she isn't roosting. Any thoughts?
