More reasons to love PB & J

I know! You really have to read your food labels. If everybody would stop buying crap- they wouldn't make it anymore. Alas- we are a lazy, lazy country. What's everybody got against peanut butter? Geez!

And when you are really freaking hungry, it takes about 2 seconds to throw one together. No waiting or pots and pans to wash!

PB&J'S are kid-friendly! Even a 5YO can make a PBJ sandwich!

Right on Sista!

Guess you took it the wrong way. The article has lots of PB & J recipes that sound really yummy- and eco-friendly at the same time. I'm no vegan, and certainly not a meat eater-basher.

ETA: Planet Green is a Discovery (channel) network. You know who Emeril is?

A chef that put on about 200 pounds the last few years and left fodnetwork. Sorry not my thing. Peanuts are not on my regular diet. I hate how they have to ruin every perfectly good chocolate bar with peanuts or PB

THe problem is that north america roasts their peanuts which causes the major peanut allergen Ara h2 to become a stronger inhibitor of the digestive enzyme trypsin, making it more resistant to digestion. Additionally, this allergen has also been shown to protect Ara h1, another major peanut allergen, from digestion - a characteristic further enhanced by roasting. Unroasted peanuts are widely eaten in China and India but peanut allergies are almost unheard of there. Can you tell i hate peanuts?

Oh, that's sad. Reeces Peanutbutter cups are my version of candy heaven in one delicious, little package

I get weak-kneed just thinking about them!
