I have ten chickens and I know 1 is a roo. It’s a silver laced Wyandotte. It’s the only Wyandotte I purchased and it was suppose to be a pullet, but oh well. Now I’m starting to think that one of my buffs Orrington’s is a roo too. id rather not eat him if not necessary, but is it ok to have two roos in the same house, or will they fight to much?

They CAN co-exist, quite frequently. One will become the dominant rooster.

However. sometimes they will fight if the other rooster doesn't want to be submissive to the dominant one. I know many folks in BYC have more than one rooster.

I'm GOING to have two when my adolescent chicks grow up big enough to be integrated with the rest of the flock. One of my bantam cochins is showing signs of being a rooster. So we'll see how that goes.....
