More than Angel Wings?

We have a 7 month old Swedish Blue... we were told she had angel wings on both sides and strapped both wings from about 7 or 8 weeks old. It's helped to a point but she 'limps' badly on the side where the wing hasn't lifted as much.

Just wondered if this is common when angel wing isn't corrected or something different. That maybe she damaged something during hatching and that's why both wings hang down so low.

In the 2nd image she's the one on the left... the left side is more affected than the right and after it rains it tends to get worse so sometimes we go back to strapping for a few days to lift it again.

I do have a video of her lopsided waddling but it's quite a big file so will wait and see if anyone has any ideas

Thanks!

Could you upload the video? You have to do it via avideo hosting site like you tube or vimeo.
Is she normally puffed up like that? I think it's more than just angel wing.

Ok, I'm a terrible with using any apps (including you tube etc) but hopefully this might have worked...

What type of feed are they on? I would start supplementing with niacin. When there are issues like this liquid b super complex is often recommended- 1mL orally.
It looks more like a slipped or droopy wing more so than angel wing. Angel wing sticks out at an angle. It also looked a bit under developed in that first pic.
Have you checked the bottoms of her feet for any issues?

Peckish duck pellets (high niacin) - supplemented regularly with peas, corn, coriander and other fruit and vegies... same diet as her sister (no issues) and the 2 pekins. From early photos it appears she may have been different since hatching - we have had her since 6 weeks.

Some ducks just need more niacin than others. I am not sure what you are meaning by "peckish". However, I'd make sure the rest of their diet is not more than 10% which is about 3 tablespoons per day. I would offer supplemental niacin - the vitamin super b complex has niacin plus other beneficial vitamins.

I agree with the other person. The condition of the feathers and the wobble points to something else going on. I would start with the vitamin b complex and see if that helps. It might take a bit longer to see if there is improvements because she is 7 months but if you didn’t see any type of improvement in a month it might have something to do with what happened in those first few weeks.
