more than one a day

i would like to now having looked at the forum that others have had more than one egg from the same chicken, one of my rhode island reds is defiantly laying more than one she has been laying soft shells one is better than the other but out of the four who are laying not every day there are 5 eggs, would like to now if there is anything apart from grit you can give her.
