More than one of a kind?

Hello, I'm new to this chickie thing and I'm happy to have discovered this site.
I have ordered a variety of 15 chicks to arrive early May. I'm wondering if there is any reason that I'd need to have more than one of any kind. We couldn't decide, so we just got one of each of the ones we want (pullets).

No, you can have all different kinds. Some breeds are prone to being bullied, though, and will be lower in the pecking order. Actually, you might want to consider getting more than one of a kind, just in case you lose one of your chicks. That way, you wouldn't have to miss out on one of your breeds.

I got my chicks last year and couldn't decide what I wanted so I got a great variety. I could of gone on ordering and ordering more but Hubby said enough. So because they were all raised together they seem to do fine. Beside I like seeing all the colors out in the yard!

They seem to do fine if there's only one of each, but I have at least two of each breed and I find something very interesting. They do hang together by breed and sometimes, even color within different breeds. Take this photo for example. I saw them relaxing on my house steps one afternoon and just snapped this picture:
