I was tempted by all the cute little chick photos on here and decided to go to my local TSC.
I picked up 4 Standard pullets, one little silkie, and one bantam.
Can you help me determine their breeds?

1st here is a picture of all of them together for size comparison.
The yellow is the largest.

This is the red pullet I picked up. It has a brown spot on it's head and brown stripes on it's wings.

This is the little silkie. Buff, red, or partridge? I can't decide. It has darker stripes on it's back that you can't see real well in the picture.

I got 2 of these little black ones. Both are the same and have white on their wing tips but no where else.

This is the biggest chick. It is all yellow. I'm thinking something all white like a leghorn?

Lastly, this is the bantam I picked up. It is all grey except for it's head which is yellow. It has feathery feet too.
He's also very, very tiny. He was the smallest in the bantam bin. Porcelain D'Uccle?

The silkie is most likely a buff. McMurray's site has pictures of the chicks. If the darker stripes on the back are grayish, then that's what it is. (I got one too.

I have the same kind..I also got them from TSC...I was told they are possibe Tetra Tints...or white rocks...I also got mine from the pullet sex link bin...they are cute and fluffy!

I have the same mystery yellow pullet chick... I was told by TSC that it was a golden comet or Cornish hen - then later told it was a Cornish Rock - I don't know if cornish rocks and cornish hens are the same.. possibly? I'm new to everything chicken. I put a message out earlier on what breeds I had. There were a lot of different breed answers coming back on the little yellow chick... I figure I will just wait and see what it looks like when it gets older and check out pictures. There seems to be so many breeds that have baby chicks that are cute, fluffy and yellow/white
