I saw a bantam in person for the first time a few days ago and this little fella was so teeny tiny I could have slipped him in my pocket and taken him home. There were a couple others too, a little larger though, but just the cutest things ever!
I'm going to start calling bantams pocket chickens!

And YES, now I want some pocket chickens of my own!!!

I have a question, in your second and third pics from the bottom you have a hen with a cuckoo/barring pattern. Do you happen to know what she is? Cause I have a gorgeous roo that could be her twin! We named our boy Mystery, cause we don't have a clue as to what he is. I've noticed in the last few weeks that Mystery has grown in a few small brown feathers, not very many, just one or two, whereas it seems your girl got quite a few more on her back. We've been trying to guess what Mystery is and we suspect he is a Cuckoo Maran mix, but we base that on his cuckoo pattern and his pink legs. We could be totally off base. I'd love to hear what your bird is.
