I'm getting my new coop today. Just trying to decide what type of vine to grow on it for shade. I have a common morning glory in a can that I can plant or is this vine toxic to chickens?
Thanks for any suggestions...

awesome, thanks for your help. I also talked to the lady that I bought the girls from... she says she has morning glories all over her fence line and that her chickens haven't been bothered by it.

I know this an old post but was wondering if you did plant the morning glories along run and how did it turn out? Did it bother your chickens?

One of my chicks got into one of my planters with morning glories...repeatedly.

She's still kicking but I'd chose something else.

Thank you, I was going to plant them on the outside of house but then wondered if they trialled onto run how dangerous that would be but I do not want to risk my hens health.
