We tried to get our loan modified twice. First time they RAISED the payment, then they said we didn't make enough to qualify. So we decided to do the short sale thing- same crap- you have to send everything in every month. We had 2 bids on the house and they auctioned it anyway! Thank god we already had another house started! No more mortgages for us! And they are paying us to move!
