Hey folks every other day or so I check on the 3 gallon waterer in the coop and I’m finding it full of mosquito larva, so I’m always dumping it out and refillIng. I’m not even sure if they bite the chickens, but I hate mosquitos. I usually put some apple cider vinegar in the water but that hasn’t deterred mosquitos.
How do you feel about those waterers that the birds have to peck for water to come out, and if they’re good can you recommend a good place to buy one? Thanks and buckety buck buck!

Cups and nipples will both solve that problem.

The Rent-A-Coop cups are my, and a lot of other people on here’s personal choice for cups. It automatically refills, and they are rather cheap.

I don’t know much about nipples, but a quick google search should bring up some options. Nipples are fairly popular, so finding them shouldn’t be hard. Amazon probably sells them, and I would suspect farm stores would sell them too.

Great thank you!
