There are still standard colors for chickens.. they aren't just reserved for pure bred birds. I call her an EE because she lays blue eggs. I was actually told that she is an ameraucana from the breeder.

The thing about easter eggers is they are mutts. It is not like they are russian orloffs for example. They are spangled, but they are not an accepted breed.
