Which is your favourite? I didn't say it in the beginning, but we are doing one bird per size (bantam & standard) per person. That way the smaller flock owners have the same chances.
I'd like to throw my boy into the running. This is Blue Roo or "Boo". He's a 7 month old Blue Andalusian. He's relatively gentle with his hens and he's curious about his humans. He follows me around like a puppy when I let them out in the garden. He's one of my favorite birds and will eat out of my hand. We did have a bit of trouble with a touch of frostbite early this winter as his comb and wattles are quite large. He's healing up quickly though.
Thanks for the fun contest, it's fascinating to see everyone's pretty roosters.
Thank you. He is a super sweet little thing I don't know how I got so lucky but out of the last group of silkie chicks I purchased, they are all roos!!!! That makes a grand total of 9 silkie roos to 4 pullets. That's not even counting the other roos....
To make matters worse, I have confirmed cases of Marek's so I can't even sell/give them away and they are beautiful!!!

I've picked two for you. Lance for the bantam and Charlie for the Standard. Charlie is way too cute not to be included. I am getting some NN myself come spring
We flew to NY to get Charlie...I just loved his color and his feathered feet. He has turned into an excellent rooster. He takes great care of his girls and that includes me. I have a silkie roo that hates my work boots. Every time I wear them, he attacks...the shoes, not me. Charlie comes to my rescue every time I guess it won't hurt to include a pic of his offspring...they hatched on December 4th....again, many of them are roos
