I like how most of those breeds have a variety of colors. If you look at the Brown Leghorn in my avatar picture you see black, green, gold, and yes, maybe some orange or red in the feathers. Even the true Rhode Island Red like the one mentioned is really a dark reddish brown.

But my favorite color is blue.

Personality: Chief is very friendly and loves kids. he doesn't like other roosters to much but will lwet just about any person hold him. My little brother Seth who is 3 claims him to be his. It's the only bird of the house he can catch and hold.

To add a personality for Maki (my 2 year old Yokohama roo that was posted a while ago): slightly flighty, but he does take care of his lady Sushi. He picks the best tidbits of greens that I give them and offers them to her in his beak. Sometimes he might drop them in front of her, but she takes care to only eat what HE offers. Very vocal (with that crow that sounds like a kazoo) but not in the least aggressive towards people.

My 8 month old RIR rooster. Turned out with the hens for spring breeding. He is very sweet and watches over his girls. Not your typical RIR rooster temperment.
