very funny story behind him actually

I went to an auction and I young girl and her brother had him in a crate with another hen

I thought it was a lemon cuckoo orp

I asked how much for him but couldn't see him too well as he was in a crate

she said you tell me what you wanna pay

I replied well its a roo so they not worth much as no one wants roos

i'll give you £5 for him

she agreed and said what about the girl, I could see the girl was tiny, size of a pigeon

so I said well I don't want the girl as its a bantam and don't keep bantams

she said well take her for free I just need to get rid of em both

so I gave her a £5er and took to car when taking out of crate I noticed he was a bantam too and a pekin not an orp

but already gave my word

those pics are the day I brought him home

and since them I have fallen in love with him

so much so I have his chicks in the brooder

he is a real super star and such a sweetie

that's another reason I haven't named him yet as I couldn't think of a name
