Most popular breeds to mix.

Actually, you probably won't get a better layer. Sex Link are the ultimate in brown egg laying machines, but they don't breed true and even the offspring of two sex links bred together don't usually match the lay rate of their sex link mother. I've bred both Black and Red Sex Link together on a number of occasions and while they have generally been good layers, my best layers have still been my first generation Black and Red Sex Links.
My thougts about those all sex links is, they lay good first year, two, then lay bad, while the offspring could lay better than 'true' sex link in 3rd and next years?
What you think?
Same comparing Australorps, Wyandottes, RIR with these hybrid layers, + the immunity and health, I guess sex links have the weakest immunity and health issues, am I wrong?
I just have two sex link roosters, one Black star on Brown.
Is there someone better betwen all these hybrids?
In this page are I guess all best layers in the world what we have today, and in country they are the most popular.

I typically get at least 2 good laying years out of my sex links (300 + eggs per hen per year) before I rotate the flock out. However I've kept some of them and have actually gotten 5 or so decent laying years out of a few of my Black Sex Links (Black Stars). They tend to lay longer than the Red Sex Links. In fact I was surprised to learn recently that the oldest living hen is a Black Rock which is one of the labels under which Black Sex Link are marketed in the UK. She is 17 years old and recently laid two eggs. If you are wanting an excellent layer that will give you at least 3-4 years of good laying, I would suggest going with the Australorps. They are the best layers of the standard brown egg laying breeds and they typically have a longer laying life than sex links. Some of my Australorps have still laid quite a few eggs at 7-8 years old and have lived for a dozen years.
