any farm birds like pheasant species are more predatory than others? Might kill rats? Larger snakes? I know turkey will. I saw a turkey wild kill a six foot rat snake. But some pheasant species look like they got a hooked bill.

Any of these birds prefer to hunt?

They will take down bugs and possibly small rodents such as voles, if they have the chance; I have seen chickens kill voles too. I don't think pheasants would go after rats but they will eat small garden snakes and mice/voles (if they can catch them). Hope this helps!

Chickens will hunt down small prey such as bugs and mice. I've heard that they'll even gang up on larger animals like snakes. My muscovies love hunting down bugs and stuff too.

I would think the any bird will hunt to a certain extent, I would assume the bigger the bird the bigger the prey. Guineas are supposed to run off larger predators, but I'm not sure about hunting larger prey.
