Sooo, I am about to make a pan that is 6H X 5W X 15L. What pheasants would live happily in that size pen that is quiet. I have about 20 quail but only a few males they aren't loud at all. I want something that will be something around that range haha. I had serama hens and a rooster and my neighbors freaked out when he started crowing all day haha!

Pheasants are usually noisy during breeding season.Very mello out of season but do sometimes call.

You could do a pair Amherst or a pair of goldens,Reeves, silver's, ringnecks. Reeves, silver's, ringnecks are very vocal during breeding season. Best bet is goldens or Amherst.

I like them all so I couldn't single out a specific breed. If you are looking for just color, you could put all males in together as long as there are no hens near the.For an all male pen I would rule out ringnecks. This way you can have 5 or 6 breeds of males with lots of color.

Goldens are usually friendly, but most will be if you spend lots of time with them and offer them treats when you visit them.
