12 now and lots of pips. No more progress on the duck egg.

Ok, they are popping like popcorn now. I can't keep up. I'll give a final count when the dust settles.

I think there's around 20 chicks now and about 10 more pips. These types of results are actually making the waiting for my shipped eggs in March WORSE.

Ive never hatched a really large hatch, I think the most Ive hatched at once is about 9 or 10, but I can imagine the fun of having 30 or more chicks in a hatch. Popcorn is right, you could actually sit there and watch the action with that many!

Yeah it seems every time I look in there now there is another one hatching and several more pipped. If I get 31 chicks this time it will be a 90% hatch and I think I can do it if all the pipped ones hatch. Besides, I noticed a couple of new pips this last bator check so I think I could still have several more tomorrow.

My hatch in March is going to be huge! I have over 8 dozen eggs coming (possibly as many as 10) and if even half of them make it to day 18 there are going to be a lot of chicks around here.
