Gamma, Lily, and Poppy are the ones sunbathing. Flutter's the one with the little tie around her neck (she actually doesn't mind it!) They are all golden buffs that are eleven weeks old

These are my Delaware chicks from Welps Hatchery. They do not have individual names. All the girls are “sweetie” and all the boys are “dude”. Hatched May 10th, that makes them 26 days old in this picture. They are all rambunctious teenagers now. This was their first big adventure outside the coop walls. They immediately began doing what chickens do outside. It still amazes me how much instinctive knowledge/behavior is hardwired into a chicken. It seems they are born with most of the smarts they will ever need (or have!).
