I was around geldings like forever.I grew up riding one.My uncle had geldings.The farm I loved to go to had geldings. But never in my life have I heard of "beans"and "corn flakes" except the eating kind.
I always thought the geldings had a "flaky"look when relaxed but I did not know until now that you were supposed to clean them.
R.I.P. to all the geldings connected to me that never got cleaned. I'm sorry I never knew.poor guys.
Yeah I am with you RRAN-- My family has had horses for generations, I had one gelding. I never heard of sheath cleaning until this thread either, except in when talking about a breeding stallion. And even with a stud I never heard talk of flakes or beans.
