Mostly done, modified shed-company coop and custom run

6x8 coop, 20x14 run (687 feet tall?)

Still have a few details to finish but mostly done. (Have black windows on order and need to put netting up to keep them off the rafters)

Added the back wall vent, poop boards and roosts. Added hardware cloth to windows and married the coop the run myself. Of course I pick the hottest days of summer to do all this.

hired a crew to build the run, but I added a predator apron.

Can’t wait to move the girls in tomorrow!!!

Looks great so clean! Where's ventilation is there any openings in the overhangs to add to air flow. Just a suggestions.

Thanks! I put a 5 foot long by 7.5 inch tall cut out on the back wall above the roosts. I am considering adding some to the over hang above the nest boxes, but as of now it’s just the windows on that side. I ran out of steam.

That's wonderful! Can I ask what you made the poop boards with? They look wipable. My chicks have requested that you come and build their coop, as well.

It’s just painted plywood at the moment. I want to line it with something, but not sure what. Your chicks are out of luck, this has almost killed me!

Absolutely, yes. But over time. I want to add lots of roosts and some stumps. I’d love to plant a bush or tree in there. But it’s fully shaded so I don’t know if that will work.
