CyanRose
In the Brooder
Hi there!
Just hatched 7 eggs only 3 weeks ago. I know it's a bit early to know genders for sure, but I'm thinking it's possible 4 out of 7 are male. Of the 4, there are 2 that I'm really smitten with and I'll only be able to keep one rooster, most likely.
In y'alls opinion, which would be a better rooster for a family with kids- Welsummer, or Easter Egger? They're both the sweetest of the bunch right now and the Easter Egger loves to jump up on me and settle in on my shoulder and head(I know from past experience that it most likely won't stay that people friendly). I'm also posting pictures of the two- maybe someone who's had these breeds can have a better guess of the gender.
In the pics- found the Egger put itself in with the bantams this morning-so sweet.
