Mother hen feeding her babies food from the DO NOT FEED list!

My chicks are 3 weeks old and have eaten everything the mother has...no problems to date - MOM does always know best!

My mother hen is trying to feed her chics everything but the crumble I put out. She tries to give them her bowl of food including cracked corn. Im nervous their not eating enough or drinking they seem hungry all the time. So I take my "silkie" baby chics in sometimes and let them feed on the baby crumble until I feel they have finally ate and drank. Though this is nuts to me...should I worry they will starve or eat wrong things. I have so much food and water sources in coop but hardly see them eat. They Chase the moms looking for food in bedding (lol straw to asorb droppings). I don't know what to do please any advice. Thank you

Only put out chick crumble for mom and the babies. Limit the woman's choices.
