Sounds like she's maybe broody? Do you have a rooster in the mix? If not, get her off the eggs. No point in sitting on infertile eggs

Welcome! I have a broody also who was sitting on an infertile egg. I bought a couple fertile ones for her and removed the infertile egg, which wasn't even hers! She's a bantam, so they will sit on any egg! I guess there is ways to break them from being broody. I just provide fertile eggs for them.
