Motion Lights?

Quote:
I'm no expert, but since all of my animals have gotten used to my motion lights, I bet any coyote that is remotely used to humans and their lights would learn to ignore the motion light same as my pets do.

Would having motion lights do anything to help deter coyotes?

Probably not.
Also, my neighbor has a motion light on his back porch, and whenever the wind blows above 10 mph, it stays on more than it's off

I had a fox attract one night and after trying to shoot it in the dark proved not doable. I set up a work lamp on a tripod and flipped on the 500 watt halogen light. To my surprise, this didn't stop the fox from coming back to drag off the dead chicken.
