Mottled and solid black cochin bantams

I have a Black roo and a mottled pullet bantam cochin.Would I get any mottled chciks out of this cross or would they all be black?

*I think* the girls from the cross should be black and the boys should be black with brassy hackle / saddle feathers.
If you breed the black girls back to a mottled roo, you should get the mottling back.
