Mottled bantams cochins gender

I raise bantam cochins every year. You can definitely tell by 5 weeks who is who. I have never had a doubt with mine, so I think you stop worrying.

Here's mine from last year at 7 weeks. Yours aren't gonna develop big combs like the boy on the right in 2 weeks time.

Old thread I know, I'm just looking for guidance one my one mottled cochin bantam and I saw this about you raising them. I don't have any other ones to compare him/her too. I'd appreciate any opinion you may have about my Scramble. Appx 6 weeks old. Comb is pretty pink. And there appears to be some pink wattles I tried to capture.

Thanks in advance!!

Looks like a pullet.

Pullet x3.
Did you notice how she feathered out/continues to feather? Was it nice and even? All my chicks that ended up males feathered very unevenly with the backs coming in last. That is always the best way for me to tell with mine. Hope that helps! Fingers crossed for a pullet though if you must a roo, the Bantam Cochin is the way to go!
