I got my Mottled Houdan on June 6 2020 as a baby chick so maybe a week old?. She seemed fine at first and actually still behaves perfectly normal but I noticed since about June 16th (I have many pics) her mouth is hanging open and food just always seems to fall everywhere. I tried electrolytes first (90+ here in Florida) and nothing different. I put her under a fan and she just crawled up under the other bird for warmth so that wasn't it. I picked her up and heard a little wheazing. After googling dangerously I went and bought meds to treat her for gapeworm (first dose yesterday) the capsule was for a 4-7lb chicken and she can't be more than 1 pound so not sure I got the dosage right? I also bought Vet Rx and gave her some of that tonight. I guess I wait now for ... ? how long do you think? And when do I take her to the vet? She eats so ravenously I just hope she is getting enough food down her, should I feed her something with a dropper? Also, the other birds seem fine but since she is mixed in should I treat the rest of them?

Can you post a picture? I’ve never heard of that before, I would check her crop after she eats to she if she is getting any food down. If she is, she will probably be fine, just a bit disabled. If she isn’t, you probably need to intervene.

Pics. All same bird, not in date order

It sort of looks like she is developing parrot beak, which isn’t a great thing for them to have. Just try and make sure she is getting adequate food and water, and not having difficulties with any of that stuff.
I heard of scissor beak but I can not find anything on parrot beak? What is that?

So, it wasn't really parrot beak. Vet said she had most likely been injured as a baby or it was genetic and that she was having a hard time breathing. I had to make the difficult choice today and have her euthanized :'( I am so sad, she was the sweetest bird.
