We got this little chick about 2 weeks ago. S/he had serious pasty bottom and would have died at the feed store, so my daughter begged to save it, even though this type of chicken was not on our list. S/he is now more than 2 weeks old and has no head crest, and has feathered feet. What are your guesses? Wing development is so slow too. I have had frizzles before and they developed wings so much quicker.

Too early to tell, post updated pictures when their 6-8 weeks old

Sorry, sent reply too soon.
We got it from Wilco and the tub was labeled Mottled Hudan and something like red sexlink (something very visibly different than a Hudan). All the other chicks we got the same day have serious wing feather development.

It's definitely not a Mottled Houdan. They have clean legs, v-combs, crests, clean legs, and five toes. It's very likely a Mottled Cochin Bantam!
