Hello!

I purchased a batch of chicks from a hatchery and five were of a fun "jungle mix". Two appear to be golden duckwing phoenix and possibilities were of a variety of breeds (phoniex, yokohama, cubaylays, jungle fowl, saipens)

Three of the chicks have me a bit puzzled:

Two appear to be yokohama in appearance with rose combs and the right shape, and their color is silver duckwing-like, but with extra mottled patches all over their chests and bodies. At least one and maybe both are roosters.

The third might be a phoenix rooster, again silver duckwing-like, but with extra white splashes all over his body and chest.

They little guys are about three months old so I was uncertain if their mottled color is possibly just a transition stage of a normal silver duckwing or if I am totally off base on what my little guys are or if they are maybe mixed up colors of some sort.

all advice appreciated!

What hatchery were they from? They both look like cockerels and they may just be hatchery quality which would explain the mottling in their chests.
They came from Cackle Hatchery as part of a jungle fowl mix. Very tame and friendly and lots of fun!

Would a show quality breeder have breed out the extra mottling to get better coloring?
