Kim, those are very good looking birds. I would not cross these.
Later U might have to introduce a new Roo but keep them pure. Keeping the gene pool pure less problems will show up later! This is something U dont want, is problems showing up later after U have bred birds for years. I must stress "culling heavy" the first few years and thereafter too it will build the flock faster. The Dominique has went down the same road as the Java.
Todays Dominiques have so much pollution in the gene pool,
that it will take some good breeders to clean it up.
Sorry for the long rant but I preach if U have a good pure line keep it pure. The right kind of Javas and Dominiques fetch a good price if they are what one is looking for and they know it when they see it!
