Do you have to do any thing when chickens are moulding

Not that I know of. Some of mine have molted and I didn't do anything.

Just make sure they have adequate protein for growing new feathers. I've read that cat food or tuna given as a treat or supplement to their food is a good way to up their protein intake. Mine always get a good supply of mealworm treats (they're about 50% protein), anyway.
