22% protein feed plus dried mealworms (trying to switch to crickets and grasshoppers but they're not as interested) is not sufficient? The greens are just for enrichment, I just replaced them this afternoon so they had more to pick at today. Is it the protein or the brand or something else?

I'm sorry. I got mixed up with another thread where the person was feeding their quail nothing but chicken scratch.

Mealworms are very high in fat, so crickets are better.

Thanks - good. Yes, I notice we get messier poops with the mealworms (mostly offered as bribes while socializing them) Am trying to find sources of other dried bugs that aren't as high in fat: they aren't enthusiastic about dried crickets or grashoppers surprisingly. But I guess they will learn.
