mounting height of auto waterer?

I am thinking to get an auto-waterer

I am wondering what is the correct height to mount it for standard size hens?

Tell me more about these automatic waterers. I was thinking of building my own. I've been brainstorming some ideas but I didn't know something exists that I could simply purchase. Do they connect into a water source or do they have resevoirs?

I found this one at tractor supply for $17

it attaches to a garden hose.

I might have to block off the top to keep them from roosting on in.
Silly girls.

Just not sure how high to mount it for them.

Any height would be fine as long as it is low enough that the smallest hen or pullet can bend their neck down to drink. Doing pull ups to drink - not so good.
