You would never catch it in time to grab it from the chickens.
Once one has it the others will grab the same mouse and pull to get their part of it.

If the mouse has a disease will the chicken or duck thah eats it catch this same disease? What if the mouse is running around in the coop? Will it spread disease with its droppings?

This has a yes and no answer.
Disease transmission is unlikely as one is bird and the other is mamal.
They can bring pests and ruin feed though.

I had a cat catch a mouse in the chicken coop once. The chickens chased her down and stole it from her! It was one of the funniest things I’ve seen.
