Every little guy or gal in here is adorable <3

I've had rats, mice, and hamsters. But I became allergic to them after a time. So after they passed, I've said no more. I do love looking at pics though~

I don't know an exact number (it took hours to count thirty mice that someone bought from me to start a breeding colony because I tend to do a physical exam on each one I pick up.) I'd estimate that I have around 150 adult mice. I'm trying to downsize on the colors that I don't need/want so that I can focus on breeding the checkered mice, dove mice, and chocolate mice to become properly show quality (except for the checkered mice which is a large personal project.) I'm hoping to breed the blue mice at some point but I'm going to wait until I have everything more organized first. I will be keeping my friendly little blues though!Wow! That’s a lot! Also, sounds really neat! How many mice do you have? If you know a number, I mean.
Well I mean that's true. Why do I do it? Well mouse breeders aren't really all that common and established mouseries are even rarer. As long as I can properly feed and house all the mice them I see no harm in breeding them. No there isn't a large population of people wanting different colored mice but us mouse fanciers often trade large amounts of mice yo add new blood to our colonies or help out a newbie with some good show quality ones. There are mouse shows too of course. I think the main reason I'd just because I'm passionate about it though. Why do people raise and breed large amounts of snakes?I'm not trying to sound rude and sorry if it does but what do you do with all those mice? I know you breed them, I guess I'm asking, what is the point? Is there a large population of people that want different colored mice?

Not unless you got either rare fur varieties (hairless, fuzzy, rex, texel, angora, satin) or rare color varieties (hereford, variegated, banded, belted, and sometimes white rumped because it's funny looking and cute!) You can also make some money if you have show quality ones but that requires constant attention to detail on every single mouse! Is there much money in mice?
Sorry if I came across as rude! It's hard to get your emotions across through text! Thanks! I'll definitely keep you updated on the mice!Oh, I agree with you! If you can properly feed and house them, have fun! I was just trying to learn something new, thanks for the info. And I hope I didn't come across as rude, was truly just curious. Good luck with your projects and keep posting pictures when you can, they sure are cute!
