Oh-My-GOD!!!!

I made a huge dinner and it was SO good!

I made everything from scratch and it came out great if I do say so myself. The best part? I cooked up 2 of my roosters and though they were a little skinny (not meat breed) they were delicious. I think I'm going to go grab some more even though I'm full, it was so good! After butchering them I was a little emotional and wasn't sure if it was worth it, but after the first bite

yum. I think I made up my mind about raising meaties! Now I just need to pick a breed.

I am right in the same position. It was hard to do the deed. But the effort was worth it. And I am so happy to not be supporting those the warehouse chicken meat lots. Even the Big organic guys raise their birds in huge warehouses. Not the way I would want to spend my life, especially if it was going to be short.
